Before Installation
1) Confirming all the other decoration of the house have finished;
2) Confirming that the wall and the ground keep the natural humidity;
3) Confirming the ground level off;
4) Placing the wood flooring on the ground 2 to 3 days before installation and letting the flooring suit the local environment;
Installation
1) Placing an underlay on the ground first. We recommend you choose polystyrene, which has 6-12mm thickness. The polystyrene is a rigid, clear thermoplastic polymer that can be molded into objects or made into a foam that is used to insulate. The polystyrene underlay can reduce noise greatly and makes people feel more comfortable when stepping on the wood flooring.
2) Fixing the wood flooring on the ground and put a little glue on the grooves & tongues;
3) Pressing the flooring by tenon on the slot between the wall and the flooring. One day later fixing the accessories of wood flooring.
Maintenance
1) Keeping the flooring clean and wipe the flooring weekly with soft wet cloth or mop;
2) Keeping the flooring dry and clean at once when water spattered;
3) Never scratching the flooring by pointed heel or other pointed object;
4) Keeping the sand out of the door;
5) Between the flooring and the furniture, putting a soft mat. |
